As part of ReRouting’s in-motion program, we host artistic walks. These actions invite publics to join temporary constellations of movement that become the artwork. At times, they bring bodies into relation with a place and with one another through the act of moving together. At other times, they unfold as extensions of existing exhibitions or emerge through collaborations with cultural spaces and initiatives, reframing the walk as both an artistic gesture and a method of gathering.

In this walk you’re taken on a journey to Berlin’s finest road damage. A walk to literally learn from the streets. It’s not unlikely that it's you who stumbles upon a diamond in the rough
GzFvS examines the sealed surfaces of our cities for irregularities of high valence. We are interested in flawed defects and patched-up repairs, not to improve the quality of the roads or make fun of the hard work, but to draw conclusions about broader societal contexts and how to approach systems, errors, order, and disorder. Much can be learned from potholes, ruts, and stumbling blocks about the coexistence of different principles of thought and order, about contaminated ecologies, liminal problems, how to treat exceptions—and what to grab in case of revolution.

Meeting Point: Silent Green, Berlin
On the occasion of this year’s Miss Read art book fair, readings from the book Walk Notations are shared through the walk format, leading us beyond the fair and into the public space surrounding the event space of silent green. Playgrounds, streets, squares, rooftops; sites that feature in the publication become our temporary reading rooms.
Moderated by Luise Leon Elbern and Viviane Tabach. This event was a collaboration between ReRouting, Cruising Curators and nGbK.

Sock, a knitted, woven, or cloth garment worn on the foot to provide warmth and protection. Common use of word includes, “sock”, to hit, strike, or punch hard.
버선 (Beoseon), Korean traditional socks. Common use of word includes the expression “버선 발로 맞으러 가다”, to greet someone so gladly that one forgets to even put on their shoes as they run out the door.
Sack, a large bag made of strong materials. Common use of word includes, “filling the sack”, “getting the sack”, “hitting the sack”.
보자기 (Bojagi), traditional Korean fabric that has been used for centuries to wrap and/or carry items. Mothers would take scraps of fabric, stitch them together to make a bojagi filled with precious belongings to send off their children with a blessing and a reminder of home.
These are items that were carried by many dis/placed bodies through distances with sudden beginnings and un/known ends.
Reflecting on Korean tradition, how do we carry the blessings of those before us, and the anticipation of warm greetings, through the fabric of a city on our daily walks? How do we move to take notice of the textures within a space and those around us?

Meeting Point: FHXB Museum, Kottbuser Tor, Berlin
Walking along the waterways of Kreuzberg, we collect material: recordings, notes, observations, and conversations. From this, we develop a multi-voiced portrayal of the less visible layers of the area: its routines, infrastructures, and transitions, as well as the power structures embedded in the built environment and the realities it produces. The workshop is conceived as a practical, collaborative process: reviewing, editing, and assembling fragments into a shared, open composition.

What ideas, structures, and beliefs inhabit our words? In this workshop, we will walk the local space and streets in the hunt for words. A collective poem-map on fabric will take shape guided by questions as a methodology.
By investigating our relationship with language, this workshop intends to expand the dimensions of words so as to perceive beyond our ideas of what exists. We will practice writing as a form of allowing sensitive knowledge to arise from listening, collecting, and thinking together. Enacting writing as a social and communal practice, we will rethink and rewrite the narratives that we have inherited to create new poetic structures to inhabit.

04.05.2026 @ 18:00 - 20:00
Meeting Point: FHXB Museum, Kottbuser Tor, Berlin
The workshop builds on and extends from the artist’s work “there is a table in this house”, a choreo-reading and collective intervention that investigates the ethics and politics of gathering, particularly in times of rupture.
It opens at a table where neighbors sit. This sitting comes with its own questions. The simple act of sitting together with a neighbour, to witness each other and the places proximate to our bodies becomes a radical act of care. In this workshop, we sit to rethink and remake the language of neighbor and neighborhood. To make it a language that is soft. To ask: who is welcome where, what and who a neighbor truly is, how might we belong or become otherwise, together, etc. At this table, as Gwendolyn Brooks puts it, we are “eachothers bond”. Together, we will sit, and as we sit we will observe, we will write. Not only on paper. But with our whole body and being. We will observe the living grounds around Kotti.

Wheels - Witness in Motion
with Salaheddine EL Bouaaichi and Yassine Sellame
06.02.2026 @ 11:00 - 13:00
Meeting Point: Riad Alena, Marrakesh
Wheels are everywhere in the medina of Marrakesh. They may at first just appear as a mundane means of motion, but are in fact form an important choreography of urban life in the city. As an extension of their exhibition at Riad Alena for 1-54 Art Fair, the artists, who are born and raised in the medina, lead us through its maze bringing us in-situ with the subjects of their photographic works exhibited. The walk continues on to Le 18 photo lab, where the works were developed and then back to Riad Alena’s rooftop for lunch.
